The Ruth Project Inspired by the Bible story of Ruth and her merciful care of her mother-in-law, this group at Bethesda is on call when a special need comes up for dispensing deeds of mercy and kindness.
Mobilized by the pastor, the different members of the group use their individual talents to help those in need inside or outside the church—normally for shorter periods of time to help solve some particular crisis.
Membership of the group changes according the particular need and according to the availability of the member to help at that time. The Ruth Project ministry is open to any of the Bethesda Church family—members or not.
If you feel called to this type of service, or want more information, call or e-mail Pastor John or Margie in the church office.
